Weatherboards Go On

Well they finally got the right boards, and with the light fading and the rain sprinkling, they started the marathon of getting them on the house before it got too wet and dark.

Sure feels good when the first one is on and fits, gives you encouragement for getting the rest done.

Must be doing something right, now they have 2 boards in place!
Finally, although dark is falling, the back of the house is finished, now all that is left to do there is for Steve to paint it sometime this week.

Although when they got round to the side of the house, darkness had fallen, and so there they were, replacing boards on the house in the dark with a camping light.

At least they were determined to get it finished today.

Well done guys, considering at 10am we didn't think we were going to get it done at all due to the weather, it is nice to know it is done and all Steve has to do is paint them. Must make Steve feel happier, because I am sure they were one of the main jobs that had to be done to sell the house, that was going to bug him.

Oh well just painting left now! Not sure how the week is going to go for Steve while he is on holiday, as the weather forcast is not the greatest. But hey, the joys of selling a house in winter!
